Emergency Department Technician

The Emergency Room (ER) Technician provides support to the licensed medical team in the emergency room setting. Applicant needs a strong understanding of Time Sensitive Emergencies, registration skills, vital signs, EKG’s.  Primary role will be assisting registered staff and performing delegated tasks in the overall care of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.

Tele-Technician

CMC is currently looking for five Tele- Technicians to join our team. The Tele-Technician will monitor examine heartbeat patterns, noting heartbeat irregularities in patient files, ensuring that heart monitors are functioning correctly, and reporting to the medical staff in charge of the patients.

General Maintenance Worker

CMC is looking for General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The applicant will complete tasks as directed by the both Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Manager.  This position’s primary focus is general maintenance and grounds keeping duties, as assigned. This position is full-time, typically Monday-Friday, call coverage and some weekend hours will be required.

Swing Bed RN

The Registered Nurse has the primary responsibility of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of the patients for whom she/he assumes responsibility under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Charge Nurse. Demonstrates commitment to Caribou Medical Center mission statement, vision statement and values. This Applicant will work directly with the SwingBed Coordinator to expand SwingBed program

Director of Surgical Services

The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for Pre-op, Post-op, and PACU is a registered nurse who has expertise in perioperative care and has demonstrated leadership and management skills, including continuous process improvement. The Manager, using a high degree of professionalism and critical thinking, directs the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care programs for the perioperative patient population and works with associated services and clinics as appropriate. The individual is this position has responsibilities that includes preparation and administration of revenue and operating budgets and direct oversight for unit-based FTEs, including nursing and support staff working within the operating rooms, materials, and reprocessing, and works very closely with other members on the leadership team and Caribou Medical Center. The Manager will maintain standards of excellent patient care and a high level of perioperative nursing competency. Consistently models excellence in professionalism and service excellence and contributes to unit leadership at a high level of proficiency.

This position will directly manage 5-10 employees. This position is an onsite position and the applicant will need to be within 30 minutes of the hospital for call purposes. The Clinical Chief Officer will work directly with the selected applicant for service line development and program improvement opportunities.

Registered Nurses (RN)
Now accepting applications for full-time or part-time RNs. The applicant would work primarily on Acute Care (Hospital) floor but will be cross trained in other departments. RNs provides independent professional nursing care to patients with complex problems in one or more clinical areas as defined by the Idaho Board of Nursing. We are looking for dedicated team members to be a part of our person centered facility. The applicant needs to be invested in our organizations Mission, Vision, and Values. Respiratory Therapist   
Caribou Medical Center is accepting applications for a full-time Respiratory Therapist.  The Respiratory Therapist provides Respiratory Therapy and life support to patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses affecting the cardiopulmonary system.  Care is related to the provision of diagnostic testing, therapeutic procedures, patient and/or family education.  Care is delivered within the scope of practice. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.

Clinical Laboratory Scientists
Laboratory Scientists works to analyze a variety of biological specimens. They are responsible for performing scientific testing on samples and reporting results to physicians. The Laboratory collaborates very closely with physicians and nursing in diagnosing and monitoring disease processes, as well as monitoring the effectiveness of therapy. The applicant is expected to work independently and as a team member in the collection and laboratory analysis of blood and body fluid specimens. Shifts will be primarily nights and weekends.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
The NP shall practice in accordance with Idaho's laws, rules and regulations and as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team for all patients—pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. As a member of the Medical Staff, this position is accountable for: delivering optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintaining current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.
Requires: Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Current licensure required by the State of Idaho Board of Nursing to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prescriptive privileges issued by the Idaho Board of Nursing and a current DEA number (may apply at time of employment). Current AHA BLS Certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.
